Guide for American Fugitive – How to fish like a fugitive
A step by step guide to fishing like a fugitive
If you’re like me, you may find fishing to be a relaxing, enjoyable way to spend the afternoon. Naturally, any good open-world game like American Fugitive will include a fishing mini-game. Although this game doesn’t have traditional fishing, you can still learn to fish and make some cold, hard cash doing it.
Step One: Find the car crusher.
In order to get your start as a professional steel fisherman, you’re going to need to find the car crusher. It shouldn’t be too hard to find this building, you’re led there by the tutorial. Go ahead and enter the car crusher control building.
Step Two: Cast your line
You’re going to go ahead now and cast your line. By that, I mean you’re going to turn the crane magnet toward the road. You can extend the magnet to the right-hand lane of the road. After that, you just wait for a car fish to come along.
Step Three: Hook your catch
Once you see a suitable catch come along, go ahead and lower your magnet into your fishing stream. It takes some practice to get the timing right, but as you’ll see, you have all day to get it right.
Step Four: Clean your kill
Unless you’re doing catch-and-release (boring), you’re going to want to go ahead and make a profit off of your new hobby. Swing that crane around, and drop your catch right into the car compactor behind you. Ignore the terrified screams of the driver, soon they will be at peace.
Step Five: Profit
You will now receive $10 or $20 for your fish. If the driver survived, please inform them that they have twenty minutes to collect their cube.
Helpful hint: Once you’re holed up in the crusher building, the cops can’t seem to figure out how to get in and bring you out. They’ll keep sending cop cars and running around not knowing how to open a door. You’re perfectly free to pick up their stupid little cars and crush them into cubes as well, as long as they’ve parked where you can reach them.
