Among Us – The *ACTUAL* Perfect Guide For Hunting Imposters
Stage 1: The Beginning
Stage 1 in a 10 person game with 2 impostors is the first few minutes of the round. This stage includes several game states:
- 8 crew members, 2 impostors (10 people)
- 7 crew members, 2 impostors (9 people)
- 6 crew members, 2 impostor (8 people)
- 5 crew members, 1 impostor (6 people)
- 4 crew members, 1 impostor (5 people)
In stage one, you always vote up an accusation. In most cases, it’s either an impostor accusing a crew member or a crew member accusing an impostor.
If the person accused ends up innocent, you should see the buzzer and vote up whoever falsely accused the crew member.
In the unlikely scenario where an innocent accused an innocent, you still end up in a safe game state until stage 2
Stage 2: Dead Zone
Stage 2’s game states are
- 5 crew members and 2 impostors
- 3 crew members and 1 impostor
This stage is incredibly dangerous! You can’t vote up on suspicion anymore as one wrong kill puts us straight into stage 3. Play around proven innocents and gather as much information as you can. DO NOT BUZZER IN THIS STAGE. Keep mental track of who’s together and once the impostor’s make a move, have everyone give an alibi. They should tell you:
- Current location
- Where they’re heading
- Where they came from
- Whom they are with
- Confirmation of other’s explanations.
Stage 3: Last chance.
Stage 3’s game states are as follows:
- 4 Crew members, 2 Impostors
- 2 Crew Members, 1 impostor
At this game state, the impostors can win off of one kill, call an emergency meeting and vote off whomever you suspect. It’s your last chance to beat the impostors.
