This guide walks you through the beginning stages of the game. Learn the basics and how to create and unlock content without spending money.
The basics, the menu, how to start, and where to find it.
This guide will help you navigate Booty Farm. You are playing the game to unlock photos or movies. I'm only about 15 hours into it, but I'll give a few tips to help you get started and not get too obsessed with spending money. If you follow this guide, it should be possible to play for free.
This serves as the side menu. You can access many aspects of the game via this menu. A small green number will appear on each button's top right when there is an important event.
First, is the Market menu, where you can sell goods or purchase goods like animals, houses, or field parcels.
The heart button is the menu to access the girls, all of their photos, events, and adventures. Clicking on any girl in the tab will open her season, order details, and photos.
The squash button will open the truck menu. Here you can fill orders as well as complete the side quest for a bonus reward chest. Each order will earn you a reward and the chance to flirt.
The train button brings up the train order menu.
The gem button opens the menu with offers you can earn using real currency or in-game currency.
The button that looks almost like a notepad opens the daily tasks menu. It will show you the options for getting gems and/or gold. It is best to simply complete an order, fill X girl’s request, and then collect a product challenge every chance you get. If you need to clear the debris, save it for the time when you're needed. The buy a Product quest can be completed if there are 3 low-cost items you can buy, such an egg for two gold. Also, purchase photos only when you have the time. You can unlock the sixth quest and receive a bonus treasure chest with tons of goodies if you complete all five quests.
Next I'll describe the world and how it works. You will start with a piece of land and some buildings. Click and hold the item to be moved. You can move buildings, farms, animals, decorations and apple trees. Even if your game is closed, the game timer still runs. This is ideal for when you have the essential stuff stocked, and are just waiting to craft quest timers.
Start by organizing everything how you like it. Click and hold for 5 seconds to select the building, animal, field, or other object you wish move. Click the green check mark and the red X below it to move it. Once you are done moving it around, click the red check mark to lock it.
The currency
There are two kinds of currency available in the game. They are gold and gemstones. It is important to spend the gold on buildings and land expansions. This will keep you moving at a regular pace and prevent you from getting stuck. You can get gold by selling items, filling trucks orders, inside chests or completing daily quests.
The gems you get are even rarer so it is important to keep them in your inventory for the first game. Gems can be earned by completing truck operations, inside chests or completing daily quests.
The market, buildings and land
Open the market menu and you can access auctions. You can also sell or buy items. I don't know the exact date, but it will soon be available. If it is, you can get started with ma*s corn farming and egg production. They are currently the best investment because you get 200 grams of gold for 10 eggs. And you can easily get that. There are four auction slots that can hold ten eggs, so it's a good idea to have at minimum 40 eggs available at all time.
Unless you run out or have an excellent price for the item and can sell it to someone else, buying items at market is not recommended. Or you may be looking to buy cheap items for daily quests to unlock all bonus chests.
Get land when you need it. When you reach the required level, the land will become yours. The area will now have a check mark in white.
Click on the location to see the cost of buying it. As you progress, land plots become more costly.
Important: Save gold so you can buy and build every building that is available. They can take quite a while to construct and truck orders will soon start using items from the building once it is unlocked.
NOTE: You shouldn't remove trees or rocks unless it is necessary to make space for a structure or an animal. It costs 100g and you need every ounce of gold to advance in the game.
Vegetable farms and inventory
Divide your fields based upon how many vegetables have you unlocked. Let's suppose you have three vegetables, corn, carrots, or potatoes. Divide it so corn gets the smallest amount, carrots get a bit more and potatoes gets most field slots. This allows you get the vegetables that take longer with more slots. It also makes it easier to get all ingredients faster.
Separate the fields to make it easier for you to collect. For the faster items, I like to divide my fields into 3×1 grids and 2×3 grids. Each time you harvest a plant, it drops 2 items: 1 to replant the plant and 1 to sell/use for crafting orders.
The game collects items starting from the bottom. It moves 1 block up until it reaches top. Next, it moves to right and very bottom of next field. This information is helpful if you have other stuff and don’t want to click “collect all” and block all your inventory slots. This will slow down your progress and cause you to lose a lot of money.
The biggest obstacle to the game's success is the inventory. You start with very little so it's tempting not to buy the wood, nails or hammers with the gold at the sale. But don't. Just make sure to plan ahead and place orders as you receive them. You can upgrade inside chests.
If your inventory isn't managed well, it can lead to waiting hours or even days for items. That will slow down your progress. Items that are full will turn to red if you can't get any more items from animals, buildings or fields. This situation can be avoided by checking your inventory to see if orders have been fulfilled and then sending them off to make space. You might also be able to find fields where seeds can be planted. To free up space, you may be able sell items if there are auction slots.
The best way for you to get the most value out of your inventory is to also leave the vegetables or eggs, bacon and milk that the animals/fields produce on the animal/field. The exception to this rule are the apple trees or vegetables that you have just unlocked. Start crafting 20 bacon for your first animal like the pig. Slow it down and keep about 10 bacon stored. Similar for cows. Once you get them you can make 20 milk to a*sist with the orders you'll soon have that require milk either as an item, or as an ingredient for items at a dairy.
The apple trees will continue to produce fruit in the early games. Apple juice takes approximately an hour.
Three apples is enough. This will take up 100% of your resources since you only have 3 apples trees.
Talking to the girls, filling out truck orders, obtaining chests. Photo slots.
As you fulfill orders, you'll get hearts and event tokens, gold experience, key, and the chance to flirt.
Send the order and then wait for the timer's expiration to receive your reward. You can then talk to the girl and collect the reward. Each conversation unlocks an additional 3 hearts. It doesn't make a difference what you say, so just click the answer you like. After many conversations they reveal some facts about you. This unlocks an chest, from which you can get items like gems or gold, experience to level up, and sometimes tools to upgrade. Sometimes you get photos after talking about the girls.
You can always click the trash can to cancel an order. It will remove it and wait 10 minutes before it gives you a replacement order.
Every day you get a side quest that will require keys. You can get them by completing truck deliveries. They don't have the ability to see how many keys have been stocked up, but I know they save them even if it's not yet. The quest will display how many keys you have, and once you have enough it will give you a chest. Once you open the chest and claim the items, a clock appears to show you when the quest is next available. While you can't see how much keys you have, it will probably save them.
You can earn event tokens by placing truck orders. Once you have enough tokens, an event is unlocked. You can talk to the girl at event and you get another picture once it's finished.
You get 15 photo slots completely free. But they fill up very quickly, so you must purchase more. This is the most important part, and the best way for you to get more is to save gems.
How crafting products work
Now that you are familiar with the basics of the game, I will discuss how crafting works in buildings. A green button is located at the bottom of each item. This icon shows how many gems are needed to purchase that ability. The last 30 seconds in which an item is being crafted are free. Make sure to make the most of this time.
Items that can easily be crafted will feature 4 features that are the exact same throughout every building.
The first green bar highlights the item. Clicking on a building will bring up all the items available. A green bar will appear around an item indicating that it has all the necessary ingredients for crafting it.
The second symbol is the truck symbol, which you will find on the building itself as well on the items that can be created when you click the building. The truck symbol signifies that the building is equipped with items that are required in order to create orders. If you create an item that is required by an order, the symbol will be there until the order total has been calculated.
The stock level of each product is the third. Clicking on an item you wish to craft will display the number of items in your storage.
The fourth column shows you how many ingredients your stock contains. You can see how many ingredients are in stock by clicking on the item to be made. This information is essential so you don't run out of ingredients. If you do, you can also start producing more.
Crafting items on a apple tree or field plot is a bit different. Clicking on a Field plot will take a Seed from your inventory and plant it. When the plot is finished growing, it will turn golden and it can be collected.
To start growing apple trees click on the tree then click on it again.
