BRAIN / OUT – Change the title image of your own workshop-map?

there are two steps, create & replace title image. you can find the title images in the steam folder if you search for ‘previewfile_’. 
 
to generate an alternative image: open the file path of the title images, start the editor, load the map you want to change, after the map is loaded, save it immediately, this is the restore point (point a). then change it (like exchange earth with fake earth, nobody should be spoiled unnecessarily.), than check everything, save (1). minimize the game, go to the named file path and there you will find the new title image, save it between. back in edior you open the steamoverlay, go to the map on changes and restore the unchanged version via the restore point. now the standard procedure, so that the map can be loaded, one must load it briefly ingame. (also editor exit, quick game, spawn and exit.) 
 
replace. to do this, open the map in the editor again, and open the file path of the title images. leave the folder open during the whole procress. (this may be nonsence, or it may be true. for me it failed once when i closed the folder after replacing the image). save your map (2), minimize the game, rename the old file to .old, copy the saved image into the folder. back in the editor, save again (3). then you have a new title image. should only be done with a final map, logical!

again in short form. both. (and give the saves a name, otherwise you will get confused. therefore, resetpoint a (b, c, d, if something goes wrong), then save 1 (pic), save 2 (replace), save 3 (final). that’s how i do it mostly)) 
 
create:

• load map, save map immediately (resetpoint a) 
• edit map, save (save 1). 
• save image file. 
• reset map. 
• standard procedure, start match.

replace:

• load map, save map (save 2) 
• rename the old in .old & replace/copy the new in the folder (steamfolder >> previewfile_) 
• save again (save 3), finish. 
• (standard procedure)
