
Guide for Counter-Strike: Global Offensive – ALL THE CS:GO WEAPONS SPRAY PATTERNS
Pistols
Glock-18
Spray pattern:
Glock’s spray just moves up. Easy to control.
Recoil compensation:
After shot move your crosshair back to the enemy’s head level.
Tips:
• Shooting to your opponent’s legs takes less time than shooting to their body. Use it!
• Don’t forget about 3-bullets mode! It could be useful at the close distance!
USP-S
Spray pattern:
Same as Glock-18.
Recoil compensation:
Same as Glock-18.
Tips:
• Shoot only at your opponent’s head – it might kill them (pistol rounds; no kevlar+helmet) or take a lot of damage. Also, shoot their legs: it’s more useful than shooting to stomach.
• Save your bullets: magazine has only 12/24 of them.
P2000
Spray pattern:
Same as previous weapons.
Recoil compensation:
Same as previous weapons.
Tips:
• P2000 is just like an USP-S, but it has more bullets (13/53), so there’s lesser use in bullet-saving policy.
P250
Spray pattern:
Spray just moves up and shakes a little. Easy to control.
Recoil compensation:
Same as previous guns.
Tips:
• Try to hit your enemy’s head. If you did so, shoot in their stomach.
Dual Berettas:
Spray pattern:
Slowly moves up and right. Easy to control.
Recoil compensation:
Move your crosshair lower, aiming to the head.
Tips:
• Shoot at your opponent’s chest at the close distance.
• Crouch while shooting.
Tec-9
Spray pattern:
Spray moves to the left, but then it moves to the right. All remaining bullets fly in this direction.
Recoil compensation:
Try to get to your enemy as close as it possible (without being killed, of course) and shoot, moving your crosshair to the left.
Tips:
• Try to shoot your enemy to the head and then to the stomach.
Five-SeveN
Spray pattern:
Same as P250.
Recoil compensation:
Hold aim at the head level and then slowly move it down.
Tips:
• Try to get closer to your enemy: FN oneshots with the headshot even the armored eneimes.
CZ75-Auto
Spray pattern:
First bullets fly to the center, then spray moves up and right. Medium hard.
Recoil compensation:
Move the crosshair to the left and down.
Tips:
• Come closer and shoot to your enemy’s head.
Desert Eagle
Spray pattern:
Actually random. Goes sharply up and to the left and right. Very hard to control.
Recoil compensation:
No way, lol. Just wait 1-2 seconds and shoot again.
Tips:
• One tap – one kill.
• Can easily penetrate wood.
SMGs
MAC-10
Spray pattern:
Quickly goes the to the left.
Recoil compensation:
While spraying with the MAC-10, move the crosshair right down.
Tips:
• Shoot near the enemy.
• Use bursts with 5 bullets.
MP9
Spray pattern:
The clamp very quickly moves the scope left up, then returns to the center.
Recoil compensation:
Keep the aim down to the right, then move to the center.
Tips:
• Try to shoot in motion
MP7
Spray pattern:
The first 4 bullets fly very close to each other, but then they spread to the right.
Recoil compensation:
Keep the scope in the center, then lead the crosshair down to the left.
Tips:
• At long distances shoot 3-4 bullets at once
• At close range, spray in the stomach and head of an enemy.
UMP-45
Spray pattern:
With UMP-45, the first 3 bullets fly straight, then the spread goes right up.
Recoil compensation:
At medium-long range, shoot 4 bullets, in the middle, move the prog down a little to the left, and then a sharp turn to the right.
Tips:
• When shooting near an enemy, aim at the head, moving the aim to the chest level
•For long-range shooting, aim at the chest, shooting 3-4 bullets at once
P90
Spray pattern:
When spraying with P90, the aim pretty quickly goes up, but after 15-18 bullets the spray starts to shake from left to right.
Recoil compensation:
Move the aim down almost immediately after you started shooting.
Tips:
•It is best to shoot in motion, aiming at the head and aim the crosshair at the enemy’s stomach.
PP-Bizon
Spray pattern:
When shooting from a PP-Bizon, the scope, firstly, moves up, but after the 10th bullet the accuracy of shooting increases.
Recoil compensation:
Move the crosshair from down to the left.
Tips:
• Shoot wide bursts.
• Aim at the head and stomach.
Machineguns
M249
Spray pattern:
Chaotic, lol.
Recoil compensation:
Spray with M249 should be moved down as much as possible, while holding the machine gun down.
Tips:
• Crouch while shooting
• Watch where the visual line of bullets flies and try to accumulate it closer to the target.
Negev
Spray pattern:
Spray goes up. That’s all.
Recoil compensation:
Spray while holding aim down.
Tips:
• Crouch while shooting
• Watch where the visual line of bullets flies and try to accumulate it closer to the target.
Rifles
AK-47
Spray pattern:
Bullets fly close to the target up to the 5th bullet. After that the spray starts moving left and right. After 10-11 bullets it is almost impossible to control it.
Recoil compensation:
Before 10-11th bullet, move the crosshair below the target.
After that, immediately move it to the left up to the 15th bullet.
Then sharply move to the right up to the 22nd one.
Move back to the left until you run out of ammo.
Tips:
• The first bullet flies exactly at the scope, try to aim at the head to kill the enemy.
• Shoot 2-3 bullets at once.
M4A4
Spray pattern:
The first 10 bullets fly straight, so keep your aim steady down. After that, however, the next 10 bullets will be flying out chaotically, so try to aim from side to side.
Recoil compensation:
Move the aim down to the right for the first 10 bullets.
Then it move to the left up to the 20th bullet.
Move back to the right.
Tips:
• Shoot sprays of 7-8 bullets
M4A1-S
Spray pattern:
The first 10 bullets fly straight, after the 10th they go left and right.
Recoil compensation:
Shoot the first 10 bullets and move the crosshair down with a slope to the right.
After that, move it to the left.
Tips:
• You must control the number of bullets
• It will cause low damage if you are trying to penetrate the wall
AUG
Spray pattern:
Unscoped, spray moves to the left and then quickly to the right.
Recoil compensation:
When shooting with AUG, you need to move the aim down and to the right.
Tips:
• Shoot with the scope.
Galil AR
Spray pattern:
Up to the 9th bullet goes straight up. Afterwards, you may notice chaotic movements from side to side.
Recoil compensation:
Move the aim left down during the spray of the first 9-10 bullets.
Stop for a second. This pause is needed because after 10 bullets shot, the spray becomes extremely difficult to control.
Tips:
• Shoot 2-3 bullets at once.
• Try to aim for the head at long distance.
• At short distance aim slightly below the player’s neck.
SG 553
Spray pattern:
SG is very easy to control at the beginning, then aim moves up and to the right.
Recoil compensation:
Take the crosshair down with a move to the left.
Tips:
• Best use of SG is with a scope.
• If you are not about using a scope, then shoot 2-3 bullets at once.
FAMAS
Spray pattern:
Up to the 15th bullet shooting goes aiming into the center, rising slightly upwards.
After the 15th bullet shooting goes randomly right and left.
Recoil compensation:
Keep the aim down, and in the center, then move it sharply left and right.
Tips:
• It is necessary to shoot with Famas, aiming 2-3 bullets at the head.
• Check the magazine, there are only 25 bullets.
Sniper rifles
G3SG1
Spray pattern:
The G3SG1 is fairly easy to control, but it’s worth noting when shooting without a scope.
Recoil compensation:
For shooting with G3SG1 you just need to move the crosshair down.
Tips:
• Shoot only with a scope.
SSG-08
Spray pattern:
SSG has no spray patterns, only single shots.
Tips:
• Aim to the head – 1 bullet kills an opponent without armor.
• Moving speed with SSG equipped is as fast as with a knife.
AWP

No spray pattern, only single shots.

• 1 bullet in the body or head kills the enemy.

Recoil compensation:
Keep the crosshair in the center, moving it down.
Tips:
• Shoot with 3-4 bullets (more chance to kill an opponent).
• Always remember to reload, there are only 20 bullets in a magazine.
