This page lists all the different Follower skins and follower forms you can apply. It also includes how to unlock follower skins.
 
 

 
 
*Please be aware that DLC exclusive skins do not count in this list, as they are not required to achieve the achievement.
 
 
You can purchase followers from merchants, find them hidden in chests, or complete special missions to unlock them. Some followers can be unlocked even by killing minibosses. These will be listed down below.

Secret Follower Skins

Secret Follower skins don't exist in biomes. They require additional side tasks to be earned. They can range in difficulty from easy to hard, while some might be obvious to those who play naturally.
 
 
 
 
The "Rat Follower Skin", will be my first follower.
 
 
The Rat Follower's Skin is one the earliest skins you will be able to find and unlock. After you've entered Darkwood a few times under the direction Ratau, you will be satisfied and will retire to a Lonely Shack asking you to come visit. After reaching The Lonely Shack you will see piles of wood just to the left. Use this firewood to make your way to the Lonely Shack.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Fish Follower" skin is the second follower I will be covering.
 
 
After you have explored Darkwood several times, a fisherman will allow your visit to Pilgrim’s Pa*sage. This is where you can catch the skin. It is possible, but it can be difficult.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Axolotl follower skin" will be the third one I'll be covering.
 
 
This skin is also found in Pilgrim’s Pasage, located in the lighthouse left. The Lighthousekeeper is inside. He will ask you for help in fixing the Lighthouse, providing a number of lumber, then reward you accordingly. When you return, he'll request more repairs in form of 25 Crystal Shards. These can only attack the Anchordeep area.
 
 
Find enough Crystal Shards, to repair the Lighthouse once more, and he will award you the Axolotl Followinger Skin.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Crab Follower Skin", the fourth skin that I will be covering, is the "Crab Follower Skin."
 
 
You will need to venture into Anchordeep to get this skin. There, you will meet a man willing to invite you to Smuggler's Sanctuary. When you arrive, look around for a crab. Catch him and your skin will be yours.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Star Follower Skin," which is the Fifth Skin that I will be covering, is the "Star Follower Skin".
 
 
When you reach the end of Silk Cradle, you may find a signpost that opens Midas's Cave. This final area is filled with heaps and characters made from gold. You will find the Star Follower's Skin if you go behind the gold piles near the back of the room that houses Midas’ throne.
 
 
 
 
The "Wolf Follower Skin", the Sixth Skin I will be covering, is the "Wolf Follower Skin".
 
 
Only the Wolf Follower Skin can be obtained by completing a long questline. The questline can begin as soon at Pilgrim’s Pa*sage. If you visit these areas at night, look for a green crescent on the pier. Once you have a chance to interact with the environment, you will be able to spot a spooky creature in a wolf robe. You will be given four quests in each area that you unlock. Each place is only accessible at night and marked with a crescent symbol. He'll ask you some very strange things, like asking you to sacrifice your followers, and you'll need to agree to his questline.
 
 

 
 
When you reach Midas' Cave, make sure to check the far back area for his last hiding point. He'll ask for your ultimate sacrifice. You will receive the Wolf Follower Skin and his last Holy Talisman.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Poop Follower Skin", the Seventh Skin I will be covering, is the "Poop Follower Skin".
 
 
If you are willing, with many sick friends and lots of cleaning, to get the skin it is very easy. This prize requires you to make a certain quantity of Bowls of Poop. It will surprise your followers. Once enough bowls of poop have been made, the Poop Follower's Skin will automatically appear.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The Eighth Skin That I Will Cover is the "Mad Monster Follower Skin."
 
 
This skin is quite secret. You will need go out into the areas to find a shop for Rakshasa, a merchant who sells food with his giant snail woman. Rakshasa may get angry if he sees you smacking the snail. The merchant will fight if you repeatedly smack it. The fight isn't difficult if the merchant knows how to dodge.
 
 

 
 
Rakshasa can be defeated by you. If you don't take the beatings, he'll admit defeat but promise to keep going. He'll also give the Mad Monster Statue to you, a unique decoration which you can only build one.
 
 
You can go back to your Cult to create the statue. After you do, you'll be able to interact and pray at Mad Monster Statue.
 
 

 
 
 
 
The "Snail Friend Skin" will be the ninth and final skin I cover.
 
 
Due to the rarity in its quest items, this skin can be the most difficult. To obtain this skin, however you will need to kill snails from the Darkwood and Anura areas. Be aware that the snails are rarely spotted and, even when killed or captured, they may not drop their shells.
 
 
Once you have 5 shells collected, you can then head to the snail shrines. These shrines can be found in every 5 area you can visit.
