Guide for Cyberpunk 2077 – Game changing performance with these 4 key options
Lower texture settings from the main menu only before loading game
Change crowd density to low or medium under gameplay settings
Change cascaded shadow resolution/range to low
Change DLSS to performance if applicable
On a 2080 super at 1440p, I would dip to 30-40 frames in congested areas but could bang out 80-110 elsewhere… I don’t know how I missed it before, but in gameplay and performance, I changed crowds from high to low and got amazing results in addition to setting dlss to performance and cascaded shadow resolution/range to low. Also, toggling textures to medium in the first game menu (option does not present when already loaded into the game) helps a lot, but I reverted to high after accepting where my frames finally were. Sorry if this is all redundant or old information, but if it can help even one other person, I figured it was worth mentioning!
