Foreword

There are some achievements available that take a lot of time! We’ll leave out the numbers for how long it takes haha. To save you the farming as well as the strugel, I have saved my gameplay! I hope it works 🙂

Attention: Achievements may be unlocked that may not have been intended. Please be aware of this.

Achievements

What achievements are we talking about?

In my eyes the most disgusting achievements are:

• Let the Bodies Hit the Floor III
• Movie Critic
• The Ultimate Sword

BUT, if in FF9 a permanent query is made about the game progress, then you can get all achievements with it 🙂

Instruction

The first thing you should do is save your own save file so that it doesn’t get lost.

Where can I find my save file?

Step 1: Find Ur save file
C:\Users\ [YourUserName] \AppData\LocalLow\SquareEnix\\FINAL FANTASY IX\Steam\EncryptedSavedData

Hint: If it is stored somewhere else, then search for the following file: “SavedData_ww.dat”
The name of the memory file should always be the same!

Step 2: Backup Ur current save file!
Cut / copy the file “SavedData_ww.dat” to the desktop. You can move this back into the folder later if needed!

Step 3: Change the save file
Download the desired file and copy it to the folder where Ur SavedData was located!

After file change

Let the Bodies Hit the Floor III, Level 99
Step 1: Load the file in SLOT 10.
Step 2: The current score is 9,999, which means you have one more fight to go!
Step 3: Get the achievement!

Movie Critic and The Ultimate Sword
If there is a persistent query in the game, then you need to do only the following:
Step 1: Load the file in SLOT 2, FILE01.
Step 2: Both achievements should appear
If both do not appear then you must do the following:

Movie Critic
Step 1: Load the file in SLOT 2, FILE04.
Step 2: The current score is 78/79 ATE’s, , which means you have one more to go!
Step 3: Run to the left until you reach this room.

Step 4: Change the Standard Heading to 0.

Step 5: Check all three possibly entrances to the elevator.

Step 6: Change the Standard Heading to 2.
Step 7: Check again all three entrances.
Step 8: Go back.

Step 9: Return to the elevator again and use the ATE!

The Ultimate Sword
Step 1: Load the file in SLOT 2, FILE02.
Step 2: Go left and up the stairs. When you are upstairs, take the middle door.
Step 3: Defeat the boss!
Step 4: Go to the right edge and read it and get Excalibur II

Last but not least, to get the rest
If there is a persistent query in the game, then you need to do only the following. (During spawning many achievements will appear, if it’s work!)
Step 1: Load the file in SLOT 1, FILE01.
Step 2: Go up and defeat the last two bosses 🙂
