Quick steps you can follow to get some much needed fps on lower end PCs.
The idea
Strive shares a lot of ini files with Tekken 7.
We’re essentially going to apply the same tweaks to Strive to boost our FPS.
There may be better ways to do this, but this is Day 1 since the game came out, and I found no other guides so here we are
The Steps
Search for the %appdata% folder in your pc.
The folder won’t appear unless you type the whole phrase (%appdata%), and you’ll be able to see your normally hidden local files.
You’ll be directed to the “Roaming” folder”.
Go back from here into the “Appdata” folder, then go to Local, then GGST, then Saved, then Config and finally WindowsNoEditor.
Here, you should see a bunch of .ini files.
Open Scalability.ini and copy and paste this into the file and hit save:
[AntiAliasingQuality@0]
r.MSAA.CompositingSampleCount=1
[ViewDistanceQuality@0]
r.SkeletalMeshLODBias=5
r.ViewDistanceScale=0.0
[ShadowQuality@0]
r.ShadowQuality=0
r.Shadow.CSM.MaxCascades=0
r.Shadow.MaxResolution=0
r.Shadow.RadiusThreshold=0.0
r.Shadow.DistanceScale=0.0
r.AllowLandscapeShadows=0
[PostProcessQuality@0]
r.MotionBlurQuality=0
r.AmbientOcclusionMipLevelFactor=0
r.AmbientOcclusionRadiusScale=0
r.RenderTargetPoolMin=200
r.BloomQuality=0
r.Upscale.Quality=0
r.Filter.SizeScale=0
r.Tonemapper.Quality=0
[TextureQuality@0]
r.Streaming.MipBias=3
r.MaxAnisotropy=0
r.Streaming.PoolSize=800
[FoliageQuality@0]
r.ParticleLightQuality=0
And you’re done.
Optional
Additionally, you can go into the properties of the Scalability.ini file and hit “Read-only” so the game can’t undo your modifications.
That’s all lads. Happy mashing!
