Act 5: How do you get past the broken nightmare portion?

Okay, heads up to whomever you may be concerned

The Lost Forest segment in the game (Act 5 just after The Chase) has been pretty broken

There is a glitch where a defeated enemy will "presence" to prevent you from progressing if it has already killed everything else.

These are a few rules to keep you from getting stuck and making it through The Chase all over again.

1. NO special attacks. According to what i've observed, special attacks can cause the enemies to go insane, so keep it simple.

2. Do not kill them while they transition into another body. This is another way for them to glitch out and stay stuck there.

3. If you want to take out zombies before they start changing their shape, i would recommend vampirism.

A sweet spot is also located towards the bottom of this screen.

It's a bit thready, but if your position is good enough, the zombies can't get too close to you. Max, however can kneecap them if he so desires.
