METHOD I

1. Go to

Documents\My Games\Sid Meier’s Civilization IV

2. Right-click “CivilizationIV” .ini file and open it with a notepad

3. Find the following line:

; Specify the number of turns between autoSaves. 0 means no autosave.
AutoSaveInterval = 4

OBS.: To find it faster, press “CTRL + F” and type AutoSaveInterval

4. Change it to:

; Specify the number of turns between autoSaves. 0 means no autosave.
AutoSaveInterval = 0

5. Save

Press “SHIFT + CONTROL + A”
