Political Warfare.(Not Done)

This would only help you in games that have this sort of mind-game.Such as age of empires or stronghold.Maybe the card came Orgus Regni and a few others here and there.

Alliances:

These are truly tricky. You could make a alliance through well lets say for example you have alot of gold mining in your estate.Someone else nearby needs gold so in exchange for gold they give you labourers to mine more efficently and get more gold quicker. Then both of you have a “Trade agreement” Or are “Trade http://Partners”.In the sense of a mlitary perspective a Alliance would basically be a brother in arms. The problem with that however is that “brother in arms” could not help you due to other factors. For example: They basically have no army whatsoever,They in general lack the supplies to continue warfare for a long period of time,They just lack the weaponry and firepower to take on the enemy,Civil matters among the populace. To end this section i would just suggest making a alliance when you truly need it or when you know you can benefit off of it in someway that helps you and helps them.

Foreign intervention:

What i mean by that is well.Lets say your the Ruler of britain and you are at war with france. The Vikings of the northern lands come in a certain season of the year.So you pretty much bribe the vikings to your cause and instead of them raiding british lands…They go after the french. This can be done by religious acts and bribery among other things.

Underground Political Warfare:
What i mean by that is.The art of a*sasination and putting people in your “pocket”.If you look back in the era of the 1920’s to the 1960’s whereas Mafias were at there prime. The Mafia would bribe the local police and other federal officials so that there operations would be unhindered by Lawful enforcement. Thus because of that they thrived for years by Forcefully owning business known as racketeering. Now getting away from that,The art of a*sasination was used alot in roman politics.Murdering your opponent would seal your spot for senator.Killing the emperor could make you his replacement.Beat the mayors into submission? Then you own local authority. The sad thing is that these tactics were so simple but now in the modern era it is not as easy which in general is a good thing since these sorts of acts caused political unrest among the populace and of members in the governments.Warhammer 40 000: Dawn of War - Dark Crusade - How To Become a Ultimate Commander (Old)

The War of Words:
If you are quite the more logical person,You can outsmart your foe with various claims and demands. To offer a alliance to gain ones trust only to use them as a parasite and suddenly after they’ve deteriorated you gain what they left behind.Maybe with the use of contracts and inheritance you gain great fortune or royal rank somehow.

Tactics and Formations (Most of Roman Culture)

Most of what i know of are Roman formations that are literally perfect. The Iconic Roman shieldwall which is glorious can hold off hundreds of foes at a time whilst the romans just sit there and just keep poking out there spears taking down dozens at a time while moving forward ever so slowly.
The thing i loved about the roman miltiary was that it was so robotic. It felt so systematic and elegant in structure. From the Praetorian guards down to the Legionaries. The way the ranks were set up were great as well but i’m going off topic there.(Another Section maybe 🙂 )

The romans used what they called “The Turtle”.If you see a whole sky filled with arrows it may be a good idea to put something over your head such as your giant shield and if you do not want your friends to get hurt! Overlap your shield on theres as the others do the same.So no arrow out of the hundreds pierces anyone in ya little turtle party.

In Later Ages when Gun powder had came into the picture.Alot of countries used What i call the “Line Battle Technique” It was expected as much for the line infantry of each foe to line up in front of one another across a not so far distance. Then on the command of a officer or general of the line who would signal to fire,The whole Line of men would fire there weapons and try to reload as quick as possible to get another Volley in.Then again if you wanted to get two volleys at a time you could make the first row of the line fire then kneel so that the second line gets another volley in and keep going which is called the “Fire and Advance” and by advance it means the Line is moving after every volley. They move about five-10 paces in front of them.
