use crt-f to search this guide for whatever trait you are trying to achieve!
—
when trying to achieve multiple traits, i find it’s usually best to either mutate two separate dogs(one with each trait) and then breed them together(works best if the traits are food-based and cancel each other out normally), or, if they just won’t combine right, breed a ‘clone'(breed the dog you are working on with any other dog and just pick offspring that look exactly like the goal dog) once you are done with one trait, and then work on the next one with that ‘clone’ baby, and so on and so on.
—
not all possible traits (especially when it comes to colors) have a food that will give them, so for some things you will unfortunately have to just grind for random mutations and hope. (i’ve found that you have a better chance for mutations with newer dog breedings, so keep going down the line genealogically rather than breeding the same dogs over and over) if you get a good trait like this, make sure to force feed that dog so that it doesn’t pupate while it has any gut flora that might mess up the trait you want to keep. lasagna and chicken nuggets only affect overall size, and cancel eachother out, so those are good foods to use to get a puppy to grow up without changing. still, it’s a good idea to export/import a clone to make sure you can try again if you have to, since even without gut flora, random mutations can occur.
